We take pride in serving the finest cakes in Hastings. Our expert bakers prepare these delightful treats from scratch, right here on-site. In addition to our amazing cakes for coffee lovers we serve locally roasted coffee from the renowned Pelicano in Brighton. Our coffee is a special blend of three single-origin beans, boasting hints of delectable dark chocolate, fruity notes, and aromatic vanilla.
We also provide mouthwatering homemade sandwiches, savoury dishes, and an exceptional selection of specialty loose-leaf teas from Bird and Blend Tea Co. For those seeking a little indulgence, we offer wonderful cocktails just for you. And our refreshing frozen smoothies are guaranteed to cool you down. Furthermore, we showcase locally made Kombucha, and a carefully curated selection of wines and beers to suit your taste.
You can find Cake Room Hastings nestled in the charming American Ground area. This historic neighbourhood is renowned for its small businesses and independent retailers, creating a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. We are conveniently located just around the corner from the beach, allowing you to savour your treats while enjoying the coastal breeze.

Our Pelicano Coffee and Bird and Blend tea both come from just down the road in Brighton, so whether you are a coffee aficionado or a tea enthusiast, we have just what you need to perk up your day.
In addition, we also offer a carefully selected range of alcoholic options for those looking to indulge in a cocktail or two. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the surroundings as you sip on your favourite drink from our menu.
EVENTS and EXHIBITIONS
We are proud to support the incredible local artists of Hastings, by providing an exhibition space on our walls all year round. We’ve hosted group and individual shows ranging from photography to watercolours and beyond. Each exhibition is opened with a private view launch event. If you are interested in exhibiting your work at Cake Room, please get in touch for a chat about how we might be able to work together. We welcome artists of all backgrounds and styles to share their work with the Cake Room community on our walls.
Did you know you can also hire Cake Room as a space for your event? We make a great venue for such events as birthday parties, book launches and poetry readings. Our catering options and alcohol license will be sure to make your event go with a swing!
